The challenge of introducing Specialty Coffee

Marrakech has a traditional coffee culture that has been a staple in the city for many years. However, the emergence of specialty coffee is relatively new to the city, and starting a specialty coffee shop here comes with its own set of challenges.

One of the biggest challenges we faced was introducing the concept of specialty coffee to a city that has a strong traditional coffee culture. We knew that we needed to create something unique and special to stand out from the traditional coffee shops in the city. That’s why we partnered with a local roaster called Bloom Coffee, who shares our passion for high-quality coffee and supports us in sourcing the best beans from around the world.

Another challenge was building a community around specialty coffee. We knew that we needed to educate our customers about the different brewing methods and varieties of coffee we offer, and to showcase the unique flavors that specialty coffee can offer. We work hard to create a space where people can learn about coffee and share their love of it with others.

Despite these challenges, partnering with Bloom Coffee and starting a specialty coffee shop in Marrakech has been an incredibly rewarding experience. We’re proud to be a part of a growing specialty coffee community in the city, and to be able to offer something unique to coffee lovers in Marrakech.
